PLATEAU

山岳、湖沼、滝などが残された自然豊かな長野県北軽井沢に計画する別荘のデザイン。

自然とともに共存していく、大地とともにある建築をつくりたいと考えた。

大地のようなファサード、洞窟のようなシークエンス、高原のようなリビングダイニング。

形だけではなく本来、私達が大切にしてきた暮らしを取り戻す為の建築。

高原のような大地が幾重にも折り重なる豊かな建築であること、

この建築がコロナ禍におけるソーシャルディスタンスや厳しくなりつつあるコンプライアンスなどにまみれた停滞したこの現代を

変えていくデザインになるという願いを込めて-PLATEAU-とタイトルをつけた。

Design of a villa in Kita-Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture, a place rich in nature with mountains, lakes, and waterfalls.

We wanted to create an architecture that coexists with nature and with the earth.

The facade resembles the earth, the sequence resembles a cave, and the living and dining rooms resemble a highland plateau.

This architecture is not only about form, but also about restoring the way of life that we have always valued.

I titled the building "PLATEAU" with the hope that it will be a rich architecture with layers and layers of plateau-like earth,

and that it will be a design that will change the stagnant modern world, riddled with social distance with

the Corona Disaster and increasingly strict compliance.
